LD Light Dimming Module

The LD Light Dimmer Module adds the ability to Ramp the Internal Lighting UP in the Morning and then Fade the Lighting DOWN in the evening over a preset timed period.
When used with the Geographic Sunrise/Sunset Feature within the ChickenMaster PRO the smooth Sunrise & Sunset Transition doesn’t disrupt the hens natural flock behaviour.
This allows a more natural lighting cycle for the Laying Hens providing for better egg quality and healthier hens.

How it works:
When the LD Module receives an ON Input from the ChickenMaster or ChickenMaster PRO the preset Timer Function (Positions L1 to L6) will start and ramp the lights UP from 0 to 100% over the Timer Range selected via the Rotary Switch.

When this ON Input is removed the Lights will Fade DOWN from 100% to 0 over the selected Timer Range.

There is also an OVERRIDE (L0) & TEST (L9) position allowing the Farmer to Override the Timer at any time and the TEST Feature allows testing of the Internal Lighting and the Dimmer over a
30 Second Time Period, great for initial setup and testing.

LED Indication:
GREEN Power LED Indicates that 12 VDC Power is connected.
BLUE LED can indicate the following options.
FULL ON = The LD Dimmer is Ramping the Lights UP and will go OFF once the Timed period has elapsed and the Lights are at 100%.
FLASHING = The LD Dimmer is Fading the Lights DOWN and will go OFF once the Timed Period has elapsed and the Lights are OFF i.e. 0%.
If the OVERRIDE Feature is used the BLUE LED will reflect the Input State either ON or OFF.
